If you think you can pass up these basic lessons, you’re in for a surprise. Improper holding of your guitar can lead to an injury in the wrist and the arms. Once you’re at this level, your fingers should have already developed tolerance for constant contact with strings. Learning electric guitar through this path is better, since you start by mastering the basics .
Learning electric guitar is simpler than you think. You just have to be diligent and committed. If a professional is guiding you , soon enough you will find yourself on stage and rocking the world.

Nice blog dude, but am I the only one having some problems with the interface i don’t know if it is because i’m using a old version of Opera!
While this matter can be very tough for most people, my thought is that there has to be a middle or common ground that we all can find. I do treasure that you’ve added relevant and rational commentary here though. Very much thanks to you!
i have the blood red model and it’s wonderful i recommend swapping out the tuners but otherwise they are pretty solid guitars i left the factory pickups in they are fine for wat i play i use a 15 watt crate amp and a digitech rp500 multi effects processor and all 3 go together really good
The difference between an Epiphone Les Paul Studio and an Epiphone Special II is simple: with the Les Paul Studio, I’d recommend you get a $500-$600 PRS SE instead, but it’s not the worst decision you could make and it’s viable if a $600 budget vs a $300 budget just isn’t doable. With the Special II, you’re wasting your money; but it’s better than a $30 First Act.
I am 15 years old and in a metal band. When i got this guitar, it was the missing link in creating heavy music. The sound so heavy and dark, and the quality is at it’s perfection. The price is one to die for and with a good amp you can rock out.

This guitar is awsome. It looks killer, although mine did not come with the widow headstock, but not a big deal for me because it still looks cool. I read in some reviews it has bad pickups but I can’t say I’d agree. The guitar sounds great with my little 10w Marshal Amp so I don’t think the pickups are as bad as some people say. The best part of this guitar besides it’s looks is the price. I paid $200 for it here and you’d be hard pressed to find a guitar as good for that price range. I’d definetly recommend this too anyone wanting to begin learning guitar or even a veteran guitar player on a tight budget. Yes, It’s that good.
I wanted to start playing guitar with no previous experience so i went to guitar center where i live and strolled around looking for an inexpensive guitar that was not “cheap”. This guitar caught my eye, it is perfect for a beginner or anyone who wants a les paul on a budget, like me. I bought mine used for $80 and it was red but i figured that this price could not be beat and for a starter what does the color matter it doesnt make it sound ant different. Anyway if anyone is starting to play guitar BUY THIS ONE and i also recommend the Spider line 6 amp to go with. I enjoy metallica and it sounds great for the stuff ive played so far.
I dig the tone, the shape, I find myself able to play faster than before (good action)

Only thing that put me off is how the fretboard and headstock are heavier than the body itself, sometimes making it awkward to hold. It’s something small in the overall experience however.

I have other, way more expensive guitars, like a Gibson ES-335, Dean 12 string, and a Fender Strat, but I gotta tell you, I like this one soooo much I play it more than the others! No kidding.
I love playing the guitar more than anything, thanks for your content, I’ll be back soon for more!
I bought this guitar as a Christmas present to myself, and I’m very pleased with it. I use a Digitech SP50 modeling pedal and this guitar works perfectly with it. It’s solid but not a backbreaker like other Les Paul models, but still delivers a great consistent quality sound. I have no trouble keeping it in tune, though I did put new Super Slinky strings on it as soon as I got it. I play in a church worship band every Tuesday and Friday and this guitar has turned a lot of heads both in the band and the audience. Many people have noted it’s great sound and sleek looks. I’m 100% satisfied. Great job Epiphone!
Great Post! I personally really like
Hi there, nice site with good info. I really like coming back here often. There’s only one thing that annoys me and that is the misfunctioning of comment posting. I usually get to 500 error page, and have to do the post twice.
